Community Engagement
Tuesday, October 4th
5-7pm
Interested in getting more involved in your community? Maybe you want to see more kids graduate, make Philadelphia more green, advocate for civil rights, or serve Philadelphians in need, but you’ve got no idea where to start. Maybe you’d love to be a block captain, a ward leader, or sit on your neighborhood zoning committee but you don’t know who to ask. Maybe you just want to be part of something bigger in this City but you haven’t yet figured out what. Join YIP for Community Engagement night on October 4th at World Café Live from 5-7pm to learn what’s going on in the City and how to get involved now.
Fifteen of YIP’s favorite, amazing organizations in Philadelphia will be there to talk about their work and how they want to engage YOU — whether as a volunteer, a board or committee member, a donor, or just an enthusiastic supporter. They are joining us to hear what you are passionate about and get connected!

Catie Wolfgang, Mayor’s Office of Civic Engagement and Volunteer Services
Marty Molloy, Greater Philadelphia Cares
Erica Atwood, Mayor’s Office City of Philadelphia
Harris Sokoloff, Fels
